About

I have been selling online since 2007 starting out on eBay. I thoroughly enjoy selling online and meeting other collectors. My other eCrater store that I opened in early 2009 and where I sell vintage collectibles is CAROLINABLUELADY Vintage Collectibles. Please check it out at http://carolinabluelady.ecrater.com

With the vast collection of books that my mother accumulated over many years, I decided to open this store for books only. Currently, most of the books I sell are from my mother's collections. She loved books and belonged to just about every book club there was. Book of The Month Club and Literary Guild were just two of the book clubs she belonged to. She always bought hardback books and treasured each book as if it were a delicate seashell in the sand.

Vintage vinyl records are now being added. Mostly 7" 45 RPM records and purchased from various places. Every record is cleaned and visually checked for flaws. Unless the record is sealed, I will play both sides on my refurbished 45 record player. Records will be graded based on the Goldmine Standard. All records will have a sleeve, either the sleeve the record came in or a new generic sleeve.

Trading Cards including baseball, football and basketball along with some non-sport trading cards are being offered. Most are from the late 1980s through 1990s.

Growing up in a household filled with books, I also love to read. My favorite modern authors are Pat Conroy and Dorothea Benton Frank. Beach Music by Pat Conroy and Sullivan's Island by Dorothea Benton Frank are their best books, in my opinion. If you love beach books with romance and humor, you really need to read Sullivan's Island. Beach Music sealed my heart for the love of the lowcountry of South Carolina.

My favorite classic novelists are Hemingway and Fitzgerald. The moodiness of The Sun Also Rises and the insanity of The Great Gatsby definitely transported me into another world while reading them.

My mother and grandmother also loved listening to music when I was growing up. The radio was always on playing the popular songs of the day. My mother purchased 45 rpm records like she did books. When we would go downtown shopping, if we didn't buy anything else, we always came home with 10 to 15 new records.

Oh my, here I am running my mouth and you came in here just to look for a good book. Don't forget to check out the records, too. I should be getting back to listing some more great book treasures, anyhow. So, if you should have any questions, please don't hesitate to let me know. This Carolina lady wants you to have the most pleasant shopping experience online.
